Jim's boat building history

Jim Grew up on Cape Ann in Essex, MA. He began clamming at the young age of 12, and quickly learned about hard work . At age 16, he was building 16' and larger, bank dories, all in Pine and  White Oak. Eventually he built 18 boats up to 65' in length  and worked on a 133' schooner.
